LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) have released their weekly metrics for the week of Friday, May 8, through Thursday, May 14.

LAS reported that they received a total of 965 phone calls, with 866 calls going to the front desk and 99 calls to the field services line. LAS reported they received 17 aggressive animal calls and 27 animal welfare calls for the week. LAS said that they also had 90 adoptions for the week, including 39 dogs and 51 cats. They had 178 total intakes, leaving their current dog population at 239.
