Iowa has its Indie Bookshop Tour. A Wisconsin bookstore owner thought his state should have one too.
Keith Burrows, the co-owner of Republic of Letters bookstore in Mineral Point, attended a conference for booksellers last fall and learned that Iowa’s tour is popular. He said their bookshops distributed 7,500 maps last year.
“A couple of Iowa bookstores convinced me that we should have one in Wisconsin,” Burrows told WPR’s “Wisconsin Today.” “I reached out to a few other bookstore owners and we put together a little group and organized it.”…
