Waunakee, Wis. (WMTV) – For the past four years, Oliver and Ellie Swenson have run a lemonade stand to raise money for cancer research in memory of their sister Ada, who died of leukemia in 2023.
With the help of family and friends, the siblings have raised thousands of dollars each year the stand has been opened in their driveway.
Homemade treats and lemonade
Customers at this year’s stand were offered lemonade alongside homemade sweets made by the Swenson family.
“We have lemonade and then later we’re having Rice Krispy treats with sprinkles, Rice Krispy treats with marshmallows, and we’re also having almond flavored cookies,” Oliver said.
Funds support national cancer charity
