MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday on the city’s north side.
Officers were dispatched at around 1:45 a.m. to a strip mall parking lot in the 1100 block of North Sherman Avenue near Firemen’s Park.
When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground with a gunshot wound. An officer began life-saving measures until Madison Fire Department personnel arrived. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died…
