MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – With a nice weekend ahead for Mother’s Day, Rob Gard of Destination Madison has a few ideas on what to do in the Madison area.
Spring Gallery Night
A community-wide celebration of arts will happen on Friday, May 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. throughout the county.
Studios, galleries, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and other local organizations or businesses showcase artwork.
“You can get out and find art in some very interesting places,” Gard said. “From Middleton, Monona, Monroe Street to Atwood, everything from dentist offices to coffee shops to the senior homes and of course, the main one down at the MMOCA (Madison Museum of Contemporary Art) downtown. They are having a cocktail party before and after.”
