WISCONSIN — A Mount Horeb man was arrested early Friday morning in Columbia County after authorities said he led deputies on a high-speed chase and was later found with drugs in his vehicle.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to stop a speeding vehicle around 2 a.m. Friday on Highway 60 in the Township of Hampden. Investigators said the driver failed to stop, prompting a pursuit.
Officials said the driver continued for several miles before stopping in the middle of the roadway and eventually pulling onto the shoulder. Deputies took the driver into custody without further incident…
