ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man is facing federal drug charges after authorities seized more than 130 pounds of methamphetamine from his Jeep following a police chase that ended in a crash, prosecutors said Wednesday.
On April 15, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents were surveilling a Jeep outside a fast-food restaurant in Decatur as part of an ongoing investigation. They saw a person put three large black trash bags into the rear cargo area of the Jeep, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.
