ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A person is dead after a crashed car caught on fire off I-285 S on Saturday morning, according to DeKalb County police.
At around 4:50 a.m., police were called to the interstate at Memorial Drive, where they found a car in the woods. A passenger had escaped the car without major injuries, but as police tried to get the driver out, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters put the blaze out, and the driver was found dead, according to police. They have not yet been publicly identified…
