Pair accused of robbing RaceTrac of alcoholic drinks at gunpoint

Steven Damion Robinson, 21, and Janasia Anteria Robinson, 22, both of Austell, are accused of taking two Buzz Balls alcoholic beverages at gunpoint from the RaceTrac at 4414 Austell Road in Austell, on May 10 at 1:05 a.m., according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.

Steven and Janasia went into the gas station together. Steven selected two Buzz Ball drinks, valued at $4.29 each, while Janasia went to the restroom. A RaceTrac employee told Steven he could not sell alcohol after midnight. Steven put the drinks back on the shelf. Janasia came out of the restroom and asked Steven if he purchased the drinks. Steven told her no and Janasia told him to take the drinks anyway. The pair then exited the store and got into their car without paying for the drinks, according to the warrant.

The RaceTrac employee followed them out to get a description of the vehicle and tried to ask for the merchandise back. Steven told the employee multiple times to go back into the store or he would shoot the employee in the face. Steven was holding a Romarm/Cugir Mini Draco 7.62x39mm caliber gun in his right hand during the incident, according to the warrant…
