Frisco ISD visual arts center to debut with performances

Nearly eight years after voter approval, Frisco ISD has set an opening date for its new visual and performing arts center, marked by a week of student preview performances.

The 65,000-square-foot, $55 million project broke ground in May 2024 and will feature a 1,200-seat performance hall with upper balcony seating, fine arts offices, two multipurpose labs, an art exhibit gallery and back-of-house support spaces.

The VPAC provides more space for collaborative performances across grade levels and schools while also serving as a venue for UIL and other competitive events.
