MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force executed two simultaneous search warrants in Memphis, finding drugs, guns, slot machines and cash in the process.
Agents served two search warrants at the same time at both a Shell Food station on Covington Pike and Yale Discount Tobacco on Yale Road. Both locations are in the 38134 ZIP code area.
The investigation was prompted by multiple complaints about slot machines followed by an undercover operation in which the store paid illegal winnings out of the cash register, according to a press release by the West Tenn. Task forces…
