MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis woman who lost both legs in a boating accident during a Carnival Cruise island excursion in the Bahamas last year is suing the cruise line and the excursion operators.
Hannah Smith, 23, an Overton High School graduate, was celebrating her graduation from Miles College with her childhood friend when she was sucked under the back of a catamaran ferry and repeatedly cut by the propeller.
