Good morning, everyone. We’re heading into a stretch of unsettled weather across the Mid-South, with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms over the next several days. As we move toward the middle of next week, temperatures and humidity levels will begin to climb, and we may eventually be talking about heat advisories as summertime conditions settle into the region.
For today, expect mostly cloudy skies with a high temperature near 85 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely at times, with rain chances around 60 percent. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight, temperatures will only fall to around 74 degrees.
On Monday, we’ll see a mix of clouds and sunshine with a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon highs will reach near 90 degrees, with overnight lows in the middle 70s. Winds will remain from the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour…
