MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fugitive wanted with three active warrants was taken into custody by the Covington Police Department on Thursday.
John Johnson, 26, of Covington, Tennessee, was wanted for evading arrest, resisting stop, frisk, halt, and domestic assault.
Officers said while conducting a routine patrol in the area of North High Street and West Pleasant Avenue they saw Johnson walking nearby.
