Man arrested months after deadly Frayser shooting: MPD

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man charged with murder was taken into custody on Wednesday, months after a deadly Frayser shooting, Memphis Police said.

Brandon Coleman, has been charged with First-Degree Murder, Attempted First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Child Abuse and Neglect 8 Years of Age or Less, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft of Property $1,000 to $2,500.

On February 18, at around 1 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Dabbs Ave.

Officers said they arrived at the scene and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and the other was pronounced dead on the scene.
