MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Colorado woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly using fake military IDs in an attempt to steal nearly $9,000 from another woman’s bank account.
Tuesday, police were called to the Pinnacle Bank in the 4400 block of Poplar Avenue after employees became suspicious of the suspect, later identified as Jonica Woodward, 47.
Bank employees pulled up a picture of the victim’s driver’s license through their databases and discovered that the defendant did not match the photo of the victim, who is a bank customer.

According to the affidavit of complaint, Woodward attempted to withdraw $8,900 from the victim’s account using a Pinnacle Loan advance form, which she signed with the victim’s name but with the incorrect account number.
