MEMPHIS, TN — A Memphis mother got an unexpected late-night wake-up call when her son tried to bring a girl into the house without being noticed. What he seemed to think was a quiet arrival turned into a fully recorded family moment once the doorbell camera captured the scene.

How the doorbell camera caught the plan
According to Indy’s caption, her son opened the front door around 12:45 a.m. The footage shows a young man slowly cracking the door and motioning for someone to come inside.
He also tried to block the camera with his arm, elbow, and hoodie, apparently hoping to keep the visit out of view.
