MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested and charged in connection with a 2025 broad daylight shooting captured on camera after police say they seized multiple drugs and firearms from a South Memphis residence.

Anthony Hayes, 30, is charged with criminal attempt second-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Officers say that on September 17, investigators executed a narcotics search warrant on a home in the 1300 block of Wilson Street.
Hayes was found and arrested inside the residence.
In relation to this case, he was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Legend Drug to wit: Promethazine
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Marijuana
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: THC wax
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: MDMA
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Cocaine
- Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm (5 counts)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony (5 counts).
After the search warrant was completed, investigators said they seized four bottles of Promethazine syrup, 394.1 grams of THC wax, 4.3 pounds of marijuana, 64.5 grams of MDMA, 48.4 grams of cocaine, two rifles, and three handguns…
