MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating an accidental shooting at a downtown apartment building that sent one woman to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday night.
According to police, just before 6 p.m., officers responded to the shooting at The Chisca in the 200 block of S. Main Street.
MPD stated that preliminary information suggests this was an accidental self-inflicted shooting; however, a male was detained.
