West Memphis School District awarded $740,000 in FEMA grant

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (KAIT) – The West Memphis School District will receive federal aid to make repairs after severe weather.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced the approval of more than $24.2 million in post-disaster funding to several states for Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program projects across Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.
