A 29-year-old man in Iowa fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and the mother of their two children, triggering a nationwide manhunt.
Three days later he was arrested in Gilbert, thanks to its Police Department’s use of automatic license plate reader cameras, where the information is shared with other law enforcement agencies.
