Hurricanes RB Jordan Lyle accused of driving at least 130 mph while fleeing traffic stop in Sunrise

SUNRISE, Fla. — Miami Hurricanes running back Jordan Lyle was driving a BMW that a Sunrise police officer said reached speeds of at least 130 mph while fleeing a traffic stop on the Sawgrass Expressway last month, according to an arrest warrant obtained by Local 10 News on Tuesday.

Jail records show Lyle, 20, was arrested Thursday on charges of fleeing and eluding at a high speed and reckless driving. He was released the same day after posting a $55,000 bond, according to the Broward State Attorney’s Office.
