Woman accused of stealing nearly $150,000 in jewels while working as a housekeeper in West Miami

WEST MIAMI, Fla. — A family had trusted Arays Izquierdo so much that they gave her a key to their home in West Miami, and she betrayed them by stealing nearly $150,000 in jewels, according to police.

A Van Cleef & Arpels necklace and Cartier bracelets were among the pieces that Izquierdo allegedly stole while working as the family’s housekeeper, according to a police officer’s arrest report.
