‘I’m going to kill you.’ Jealousy led Miami man to shoot his ex-brother-in-law: cops

A Miami man who suspected infidelity between his ex-wife and her brother-in-law picked up a gun and tried to kill the brother-in-law, instead leaving him with a gunshot wound to the shoulder Wednesday, police say.

Ramon Lauzurique-Gonzalez, 55, is facing a charge of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, his arrest report read. As of Thursday evening, he was in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Around 6:30 p.m., Lauzurique-Gonzalez and his ex-wife began arguing over what he believed to be the reason they’d divorced, she told Miami police. Jealous, he accused her of being attracted to her brother-in-law, who along with his wife — the woman’s sister — shared a residence…
