OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin said rescue crews were needed to help a distressed swimmer in the Lake Michigan waters Sunday night.
According to a release from the Oak Creek Fire Department, crews responded around 7:35 p.m. to Bender Park for reports of a swimmer in distress.
Before first responders could arrive on the scene, one person was said to use a jet ski to throw a personal flotation device to the distressed swimmer.
