Minnesota law enforcement communities across the state are coming together in grief following the death of Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Tyler Uthe, a dedicated public servant whose passing has sent waves of sorrow through multiple departments and the families connected to them.
The Savage Police Department was among the first to publicly acknowledge the loss, and for good reason. The grief there runs deeper than professional mourning. Lt. Uthe was the husband of Savage Police Sergeant Ashley Uthe and the father of their two young children.
