Salon owner describes hiding during Tuesday standoff, MPD negotiator explains response tactics

New surveillance video from a nearby business is showing police response during an hours-long armed standoff in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

The video shows Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office deputies entering the front door of the apartment building at 27th Street and Nicollet Avenue. Later, deputies with shields and tactical gear are seen entering the building, along with Minneapolis police on the scene.
