Severe storm damages booths, equipment ahead of Stone Arch Bridge Festival

A severe storm that swept through the northern half of the Twin Cities on Friday evening caused major disruption to this weekend’s Stone Arch Bridge Festival.

The annual arts event along the Minneapolis riverfront is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, but preparations were hit by Friday’s high winds, blowing over and damaging tents and equipment.

At least one vendor, artist Anna Bailey, has been forced to cancel her appearance at this weekend’s event after the storm caused significant damage to the frame of her booth…
