1 dead, 1 injured after shots fired into group in Minneapolis, police say

One person was killed in an overnight shooting in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Police Department says officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2100 block of Lyndale Avenue South at 1:20 a.m., and they discovered a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and pronounced dead. A second victim, who police say “may have been involved” in the same incident, later arrived at North Memorial Medical Center in a private vehicle with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound…
