Heavy rain that swept through the Twin Cities has forced the postponement of Tuesday evening’s performance by the Dave Matthews Band at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater.
The 19,000-capacity Shakopee amphitheater, which opened to the public at the weekend, announced at 5:35 p.m. that doors would not open at 6 p.m. as scheduled, and then at 6 p.m. said that it would continue to delay doors “as we monitor the ongoing weather.”
Just before 7 p.m., just over a half-hour before the concert was due to start, the venue confirmed show would not go ahead, and was being postponed to August 31.
