The long-awaited arrival of Cava in Minnesota is on the horizon.
The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant will open near the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus on Sept. 23. The eatery at 622 Washington Ave. SE will be the company’s 500th U.S. location.
While this is the first Minnesota outpost for Cava, it won’t be the last. In March, a spokesperson told Bring Me The News that it will also open a restaurant at 12351 Ulysses St. NE in Blaine at some point this year.
The openings are part of an aggressive expansion plan for the Washington, D.C.-headquartered company, which plans to have at least 1,000 stores by 2032…
