New Meteorologist At KARE 11 Learns Grilling Is Not His Strong Suit

A relatively new Twin Cities meteorologist appears to have had a tough first week. KARE 11’s newest weatherman may have made grillmasters across the land of 10,000 rubs roll their eyes after a blunder was caught on video. Even John Ziegler was horrified by what happened!

It Appears Tucker Isn’t Familiar With The 3-Second Rule

KARE 11’s newest meteorologist, Tucker Antico, made his Twin Cities TV debut earlier this summer. When he appeared for the first time on KARE 11’s Sunrise program, he definately made an impression, just not a very strong one when it comes to grilling.

Antico was asked by John Ziegler, now the chief meteorologist for KARE, to come flip his first burger in KARE’s backyard. It didn’t go well.

Antico managed to flip a burger, only to have it bounce and then roll onto the KARE 11 Backyard bricks, stunning those around him. Antico, while embarrassed by the burger-flipping fiasco, did admit that “this is why I don’t grill”.

Who Is Tucker Antico?

Before coming to the Twin Cities, Antico spent three years in Boston at WFXT-TV. Before being in Beantown, Antico had other stops at FOX59 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and WEAU-TV in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

College football season might be awkward at times on the morning news program, as Antico is a Penn State graduate, so we might see some Nittany Lions colors leading up to game day.
