Minnesota’s first responders community is mourning a young Twin Cities paramedic who died this month, less than four months after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Alexis Pierce, who died Saturday, was an M Health Fairview paramedic who served in Inver Grove Heights and the surrounding communities.
“On January 26, 2026, at just 25 years old, Alexis received devastating news,” a GoFundMe page for Pierce shares. “She was diagnosed with a mass on her colon, hepatic lesions, and metastatic malignancy. In simple terms, she is facing an aggressive, widespread cancer.”
