DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – The Minnesota Wilderness were searching for their second Robertson Cup title in franchise history, and first since 2015, but were denied by the Maryland Black Bears, who won their first-ever league championship 3-2 in overtime.
The Wilderness fell behind 1-0 in the second until getting back-to-back goals from Robinson Djian and Avery Anderson to take a 2-1 lead into the third period.
