National Geographic names Minneapolis one of the best food destinations in the world

Minnesotans like to make the case that the Twin Cities are a sometimes overlooked food destination that deserves to be discussed among the nation’s best. But best in the world?

National Geographic is bold enough to make that case. It has named Minneapolis one of the 14 “best places in the world for food right now,” applauding the diversity of its restaurants and markets.

The inclusion puts Minneapolis alongside other cities with rich culinary attractions, such as Crete, Czechia, Singapore, Cape Town, London, and Sonora.
