Last week’s City Council meeting covered several important updates on grants, infrastructure, community partnerships, and city services.
I shared that we are working with our grant team to revisit project costs and submit additional priority projects before the May 29th deadline, including urgent bridge needs such as Warren Street Bridge and other drainage or roadway concerns across the city.
We also received exciting news that Prichard was approved for a $15,000 AARP grant to improve the outdoor area at our senior center with shade and seating upgrades. This is part of a larger goal to renovate the senior center, expand programming, and create a more welcoming space for our seniors…
