STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WALA) – A Mississippi resident was killed and another was hospitalized following a crash Wednesday that also involved a truck driver from Wilmer, Ala., officials said.
It was about 3 p.m. Wednesday when the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 26 in Stone County. A 2018 Chevrolet Colorado with driver Dean Rominger, 82, and passenger Dewayna Brown, 30, both of Wiggins, was traveling north on Old Highway 26 when it collided with a 2000 Peterbilt driven by 50-year-old John Innabnit of Wilmer that was traveling east on Highway 26, officials said.
Romnger received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene. Brown received injuries from the crash and was transported to a local hospital…
