MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 75-year-old motorcyclist Thursday morning, Mobile police said.
Douglas Baxter died as the result of the crash that happened on Moffett Road at Howells Ferry Road, police said. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at about 4:49 p.m.
Responding officers found the motorcyclist was traveling east on Moffett Road when he collided with another vehicle in the intersection. Baxter was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased, police said.
