MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Perimeter Road at Mobile International Airport will close to traffic starting Monday, June 15, as crews build a new roundabout to support the airport’s future terminal, officials said.
The closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, Oct. 23, weather and construction conditions permitting.
Drivers will be directed to posted detour routes, with most traffic using Dauphin Island Parkway, Gatotkoco Drive and Interstate 10. A separate access route will be maintained for Fixed Base Operator (FBO) traffic…
