Prichard, Ala — The legal fight between Prichard Mayor Carletta Davis and the Prichard City Council is growing.
Council members Annie Williams, Stephani Johnson-Norwood, Traci Hale, Teresa Fox-Bettis and Roy Smith II filed new court documents Monday asking a Mobile County Circuit Court judge to dismiss Davis’ request for a preliminary injunction. The council also filed a counterclaim seeking a declaratory judgment against the mayor.
