Mobile juvenile murder case bound over to grand jury

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A judge ordered a murder case against a 19-year-old Mobile man to a grand jury following a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Jametrius Jackson is charged with murder in the death of Keyonte Mingo, 17, who was shot while riding in a car with four other people early on July 5. Mingo died at the hospital.

Detective testifies to shooting details

Mobile Police Detective Bradley Weaver testified the shooting happened after an altercation in an area where 50 to 100 people had gathered. Weaver testified that surveillance video shows Jackson firing toward the car as it drove away.
