According to a Department of Justice news release, 20-year-old Braedan Matthew Thomas was sentenced to a year and one day in prison on one count of illegally possessing a machine gun.
Officials said that on Feb. 16, 2026, Mobile Police Department officers arrested Thomas after a photo and video were posted on social media “showing Thomas lying flat on his back with his arms outstretched and his shoes removed and placed on the ground near his feet.”…
