Spanish Oak Inn tenants explore lawsuit as tax lien raises questions

Theodore, AL (NBC15) — After residents at Spanish Oak Inn spoke out to NBC 15 about water and power problems, an attorney says at least a dozen tenants have signed agreements as he reviews potential legal claims against the property.

More than six residents contacted NBC 15 last week, saying they had gone days without running water. Some also described ongoing power problems, cold or dirty-looking water after service returned and fears they could be forced from their homes. All residents interviewed by NBC 15 asked to remain anonymous.
