MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Downtown Mobile was filled with color and music as both the inaugural Mobtown Mural Festival and the 4th annual Son of a Sailor Festival took over Cedar Street Social Club.
15 artists in total, including eight from Barton Academy, worked on painting murals around Downtown on Saturday.
One of the artists, Hannah Legg, wanted to bring the idea to life in Mobile after meeting other muralists that have done festivals.
