Bart Andrews knows the city of Prichard, spending 10 years with the police department before leaving as a detective sergeant. He’s now with the Dauphin Island Police Department, but as of last night, he’s asking city leaders for another shot at serving Prichard, serving as their next chief of police.
“God gets you ready for some point in your life and I think all the experience, the tough times, the good times have gotten me where I am right now,” Andrews said. “And I believe I’m at least a decent candidate for the chief of police for the city of Prichard.”
