One of the country’s most popular bookstore chains returns to Mobile this week after a 17-year absence.
Barnes & Noble closed its location at Springdale Mall in 2010. Its only remaining store in coastal Alabama was at the Eastern Shore Centre in Spanish Fort. That store has remained open.
A new location has been in development at 3930-B Airport Blvd., in Mobile’s McGregor Square shopping center. It is due to open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to its Facebook page…
