MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile man is recalling the tragic moments after seeing a close family friend become a victim of a deadly train crash.
Mobile Police said it all happened Sep. 24 just before 11 a.m. at Bellingrath and Peary roads. Half of a car sat alongside the railroad track. Investigators said an Amtrak train was headed to Mobile when it hit the car. MPD said the crossing arms were down during that time.
