AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — The Auburn Police Department (APD) has arrested a man allegedly responsible for the theft of sensitive information from an Auburn business on South Donahue Drive.

According to APD, on Sept. 28, 2026, officers arrested 24-year-old David Rudolph Jenrath of Franklin, Tennessee, on charges of theft of trade secrets and computer tampering.
An Auburn business, located in the 300 block of South Donahue Drive, reported that sensitive information was stolen and distributed to the business’s competitors.
Investigators later identified Jenrath as the suspect in the theft.
