Dr. Barry Booth reminded guests gathered in his honor Monday about the important work ahead: flags will be distributed to the graves at the Alabama Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort on Saturday, ahead of Memorial Day services on Monday.
As Booth often tells others, “Every day should be Veteran’s Day.” In Daphne, that message carried through as his Honor Flight South Alabama team joined city leaders to celebrate the 85-year-old retired dentist. Together, they recognized the man whose steady commitment to coastal Alabama veterans strengthened the region’s support for those who served.
