MOBILE, Ala. (KLTV) – Former Marshall Maverick Spencer Taylor accomplished a feat on Saturday for Arkansas State that hadn’t been done in 20 years when he won the 400-meter dash at the Sun Belt Conference outdoor track and field championships.
Jason Brooks was the last Arkansas State athlete to win the 400-meter dash at the conference championships in 2006.
Taylor earned his first individual conference title with a personal-best time of 46.44 seconds. It is the fourth-fastest 400-meter time in school history and the fastest since 2005…
